This position is located at the Mountain View Golf Course. **This Announcement has an initial cutoff date of Wednesday, 30 December 2025 at 11:59 PM (EST).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Incumbent must have extensive work experience that demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform work in all phases of golf course maintenance to include one-year experience equivalent to the next lower level.

Incumbent also must have experience in irrigation system repair, modification and usage.

Also, must have a working knowledge of the chemicals and equipment used to control fungi, insects, and weeds on the golf course.

Incumbent must be certified, or certifiable as pesticide applicator by the Department of Defense, in the categories required for the use of the golf course.

Major Duties:

  • Incumbent is under the direct supervision and training of the Golf Course Superintendent in the maintenance, repair and improvement of the condition of the entire playing area of the golf course.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, direction and supervision of subordinate employees in all phases of course maintenance to include mowing, watering, fertilizing and maintaining tees, fairways, greens and roughs and all peripheral areas.
  • Additionally, performs administrative duties related to the maintenance of the golf course and equipment used on the course. This includes ordering and receiving parts, equipment and materials for the course and equipment maintenance section.
