Requirements
• Perform instructional and technical duties related to teaching golf, administering golf play, overseeing concession contracts, and managing retail operations of a golf course.
• Supervise volunteers, interns, students, seasonal staff, or other personnel, including tasks such as hiring, termination, training, scheduling, delegating, and monitoring and reviewing work.
• Order, receive, inspect, and store equipment, merchandise, materials, and supplies.
• Manage accounting or budget activities, providing essential fiscal information to contribute to the financial health and stability of the golf course.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of golf operations

- Ability to hire and manage staff
- Experience with point of sale and inventory software

- Understanding of State policy and procedures, including financial policy
- Skills to teach golf lessons
- Associates degree, bachelor's degree and/or equal years of experience

- Proven experience in managing and overseeing daily play and tournaments, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable golfing experience.
- A successful track record in retail sales, contributing to optimized merchandise operations and enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in concession management, ensuring efficient and customer-focused service.
- Effective communication skills to foster collaboration with staff, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
- Financial acumen to implement sound budgetary practices.
- Problem-solving abilities to address challenges promptly and ensure the smooth operation of golf course activities.
Additional Information
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to withstand extended periods of outdoor temperatures of hot or cold.
- Ability to scale stairs to and from the cart barn below the clubhouse
- Ability to lift 30 lbs overhead
- Have or the ability to obtain a Class A PGA certification within three golf seasons
- Have or the ability to obtain a Utah driver's license within 60 days
- Have 5 years or more of Head Golf Professional Experience
