This job involves designing, building, and maintaining complex software for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board's eCommerce systems, with a focus on Oracle tools for online sales to customers and businesses.
You'll troubleshoot issues, monitor system performance, and work either alone or in a team to keep everything running smoothly.
It's a great fit for experienced developers who enjoy coding, problem-solving, and working with modern web technologies in a stable government setting.
This position will develop and support the eCommerce platform with a primary responsibility for the B2C (business to consumer) system; Oracle storefront (FWGS) and secondary responsibility to support the B2B (business to business) development and support the Oracle storefront system (LOOP, Associate Portal).
The primary responsibility of this position will be development within the various Oracle systems utilized by the PLCB.
This development can be done individually or as part of a team, depending on the complexity of the project in question.
Developing code as assigned and giving input to aid in design solutions, and will routinely develop and debug code. Additional responsibilities include:
This position will also serve in advanced troubleshooting, investigating, and debugging of problems and defects found in the supported systems. Problems are found and logged by internal staff.
This position will research the problems found, log input and findings into the ticket and theorize a solution.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. You will be required to report to the Northwest Office Building in Harrisburg two days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

You must pass a background investigation.
