This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position.
This position is an Indefinite with Right to Convert WG-2892-10 AIRCRAFT ELECTRICIAN (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1369000 and is part of the MO 139th Airlift Wing.
This is a bargaining position. SEE NOTES UNDER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT. This position is also advertised on AGR Announcement #AF26-010.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air National Guard.
Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion).
Maximum Military Grade - SSgt (E-5) Minimum Military Grade - Amn (E-2) immediately promotable to A1C (E-3) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess general experience, education or training which has provided the skill to locate and tie in the electrical systems with the aircraft armament, electronics, and instrument systems; adjust and calibrate the components of the various electrical systems; and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
WG-10 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized experience in installing, maintaining, repairing and modifying electrical systems and major substation components of electrical system; diagnosing malfunctions and determining remedy when complex relationships exists among different electrical system circuits requiring knowledge of all electrical units and systems and diagnosing malfunctions and determining remedy when complex relationships exists among different electrical system circuits requiring knowledge of all electrical units and systems.
This specialized experience also provided knowledge of setup and operation of computerized multiple circuit analyzing equipment in manual, semiautomatic, or automatic mode to run existing and new (not fully debugged) diagnostic programs to test and analyze aircraft electrical circuitry and interconnecting cabling of systems such as navigational computers, radar, and related equipment and to repair discrepancies.
