Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

The Luzerne - Wyoming County, Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is seeking a hard-working Aging Care Manager 3 to join our Protective Services team and assist senior citizens in obtaining the help and support they need stay active and safe.

In this Aging Care Manager 3 position, you will serve as an Aging Protective Services Investigator.
Your responsibilities will involve recording Reports of Need for Protective Services, determining the category and priority of need, and investigating all allegations within regulatory timeframes.
This includes conducting face-to-face interviews with older adults, all collateral contacts, and the alleged perpetrator of the abuse to collect all necessary information as well as ensuring thorough, accurate documentation.
You will also collaborate with other agencies and entities in order to come to a conclusion in each case.
These entities may include law enforcement, financial institutions, the medical community, domestic violence services, and other social services agencies and systems Your work will involve arranging for clients to receive various Aging services, assuring medical intervention, assisting with filing for court orders and actions, and completing other work to ensure the people we serve are protected and supported as needed.
You will also have the opportunity to volunteer for paid after-hours Protective Services crisis coverage and attend trainings to maximize the effectiveness of the care and services we provide.
