The Allegheny County Department of Human Services Area Agency on Aging is expanding its Protective Services Unit and looking for compassionate, motivated support staff to help protect and empower older adults in our community.

As a Protective Services Case Aide 2, you will assist professional and technical social services personnel in providing information and referral activities to senior citizens in Allegheny County to help them better understand the community resources available to meet their individual needs as it pertains to safety, support and protective services.
You will be expected to maintain a detailed working knowledge of the cultural, physical, and social environment of the geographical area or program and an understanding of the technical procedures and practices involved in performing a brief assessment of individual situations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week upon successful completion of 6-months of employment.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
