Full Job Description

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the ENERGETICS MANUFACTURING TECH DEPARTMENT, NAVY WEAPONS MCALESTER DETACHMENT, WEAPONS MAINTENANCE BRANCH of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.

NT-4: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3 (GS-9/10 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assessing inventory management methods and processes ensuring compliance with storage and handling policies and regulations.

  • You will manage all four equipment inventories for the Navy Weapons Division.
  • You will prepare required Naval Messages concerning ordnance movements and conditions.
  • You will use the OIS to input and verify Ammo Transaction Reports (ATRs) to ensure 100% correct inventory
  • You will manage all stock material used by the Navy Weapons division and orders replacement material to ensure no excess or material shortages
  • You will acts as a liaison with the contracting offices at both NSWC IHEODTD and the McAlester Ammunition Plant
  • You will take an active part in physical inventory of equipment or other items of supply
  • You will identify and resolve logistics problems reported by the fleet and contractors.
