About the Position: This position serves to use comprehensive knowledge to evaluate work orders, drawings, and blueprints to ensure that all required materials, equipment, and tools are identified and available before scheduling work.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Shop Planner (Prod Machinery Mech) without more than normal supervision.
Duties such as production machinery and equipment work. Apply production machinery methods and techniques. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (Includes Blueprint Reading) Ability to Provide Production Support Services Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, and Repair, etc.
Knowledge of Materials Technical Practices (Theoretical, Precise, Artistic) Physical Effort: Normally, performs work in an office setting.
Frequently we must work on hard surfaces and in areas that require the incumbent to stoop, stand, bend and work in tiring positions.
Frequently lifts and carries materials and parts weighing up to 40 lbs. May handle heavier items weighing up to 60 lbs. Forklifts and other workers are available for assistance with heavier items.
Working Conditions: Work is usually performed in areas that are well lighted, heated and ventilated. Work is occasionally performed where there is dirt, dust and grease.
Exposed to possibility of cuts, scrapes and bruises. Major Duties:
