Full Job Description

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Global Deterrence and Defense Department (GX), Trusted Microelectronics Division (GXV), Business Operations Branch (GXVB) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions.

This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $137,000).

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical oversight of programs to ensure development of the workforce, effective execution of workload, and quality of support and services to assigned customers.

The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze.

• You will be responsible for reviewing detailed project plans, cost estimates, and resource requests.
• You will maintain resource sheets, wellness file, project schedules, spend plans, financial planning, and risk management.
• You will prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders that detail all aspects of project execution.
• You will review statements of work (SOW), task planning sheets, and cost estimates, that clearly define tasking, a basis for estimate, and the amount and type of funds required to perform tasks.
• You will be responsible for identifying project risks and developing appropriate strategies to mitigate risks.
