Entry salary: $88,520 | Full performance (GS-14): up to $135,987
Career ladder: Start at GS-13 and advance to GS-14 with experience.
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-12. Expert-level knowledge in field.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading and managing workforce development programs, especially leadership training and succession planning, for a naval command to build skills among employees and supervisors.
You'll handle everything from assessing training needs and tracking progress to budgeting and coordinating with vendors for courses.
It's a great fit for someone with experience in HR or training who enjoys organizing programs that help people grow in their careers within a government or technical organization.
You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Workforce Development Branch; Human Resources Division; Corporate Operations Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. NT-05 is equivalent to GS-13/14. This position is salary capped at GS-13 Step 10 (currently $158,322).

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing, developing, or coordinating command wide employee workforce development programs or initiatives for an organization.
Examples may include identifying skill gaps and deficiencies or evaluating progress of program performance and providing recommendations for improvement.
