Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading and managing emergency preparedness and response programs for Navy installations, advising commanders on disaster situations, and coordinating training and policies to handle natural or man-made crises.

ORGANIZATION: Emergency Management Directorate, Commander Navy Region, Mid-Atlantic (CNRMA) Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Experience in emergency management program management. - Experience in contingency preparedness and response.
- Experience in participating or leading in drills/exercises. - Experience utilizing working knowledge of Emergency Operation Center functions.
- Experience making critical decisions under high-stress situations. - Experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite applications.
