This job involves leading production control efforts for manufacturing projects in a naval facility focused on energetic materials, including managing procurement, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely project execution.
A good fit would be someone with experience in coordinating resources and solving complex issues under tight deadlines, ideally from a technical or administrative background in government or manufacturing settings.
The role emphasizes training others and monitoring inventory to support the department's mission.
You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist (Lead Production Control Specialist) in the Operations Support Division (M3), Energetics Manufacturing Technology Department (M) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-11/12.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing procurement processes (e.g.
funding, work orders, managing deliveries, processing returns) to prepare project plans for Maintenance and Repair of Energetic Operation Process Systems and Equipment.
