Full Job Description

You will serve as a Service Cost Center Program Financial Analyst in the Comptroller Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band or equivalent grade levels (GS-11/12) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing, developing, and utilizing financial management methods and procedures to assess internal controls and provide technical direction and consultation on reconciling funding issues ensuring the efficiency of an organization's financial operations.

  • You will be the SME for an assigned to the Commands multiple business SCC's, financial budgeting and execution reporting and the translation of actions, both past and proposed into meaningful and relevant information for use in management decisions.
  • You will be responsible for processing cost accruals, analyzing expenditure trends, and cost-estimating.
  • You will provide detailed cost reports and resolution regarding items such as over-runs, receipts, direct labor hours, indirect labor hours, and workload balancing.
  • You will set up Network Activities and links them to Sales Orders in ERP and tracks expenditures against them.
  • You will extract, analyze, and present data from data systems responding to special projects requests from internal and external customers.
  • You will provide coordinated project management support across a matrix organization, including planning, execution and negotiating with customers, to ensure efficient business operations.
