This job involves providing administrative support to a naval air station, including handling personnel records, managing budgets and manpower needs, and ensuring compliance with travel and information policies.
It requires organizing reports, advising on procedures, and protecting sensitive personal data for military staff.

You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the Administrative Office of NAVAL AIR STATION LEMOORE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting the Administrative Officer to determine budget and manpower requirements of various departments by creating reports, securing files, and composing correspondence; 2) Assessing support program effectiveness through the use of qualitative and quantitative methods in order to provide suggestions for improvement; 3) Advising management on a wide range of administrative proposals, policies, and procedures to support efficient operations and maintain compliance with established regulations; and 4) Providing advice and training on Defense Travel rules and regulations to aid in the proper use of Defense Travel System (DTS).
