About the Position: This position is located at the Ansbach US Army Health Clinic.

The incumbent will work as an Administrative Assistant responsible for providing a full range of administrative support to the Clinic.

One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-05 level in the Federal Service, providing administrative support that includes: tracking personnel actions for incoming and outgoing staff, generating required reports, supporting programs such as travel operations, time and attendance, and maintaining office training calendar.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).

Major Duties:

  • Maintain clinic Military and Civilian evaluation trackers, sending the trackers to higher headquarters monthly with the Commander’s signature for review.
  • Track, manage, and submit required clinic hiring actions to higher headquarters. Tracks OTEXs for civilian employees.
  • Track, manage, process, and assist in the completion of all Military and Civilian personnel actions to include, but not limited to, awards, Permanent Change of Station (PCS), extensions, etc.
  • Generate rosters as needed (gains roster, leave roster, staff duty roster, etc.)
  • Serve as the alternate timekeeper and/or certifier in the payroll system (ATAAPS) for the clinic.
  • Serve as the site coordinator and serves as the clinic’s DTS point of contact (POC)
  • Maintain the clinic’s training calendars, to include the external Long Range Training Calendar and near-term calendars.
  • Conduct training system of record for staff and serves as the clinic’s Training Systems Manager.
