This job involves providing administrative support for military personnel matters, such as handling promotions, awards, performance reviews, and record-keeping at a Marine Corps air station in Japan.
You'll use computer software to manage documents, review applications, and ensure everything follows regulations.

You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT (MIL/OA) in the S-1 ADJUTANT BRANCH of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION IWAKUNI. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting in performing and coordinating personnel actions including, but not limited to, promotions, awards, performance evaluation, administrative separations, or similar matters AND maintaining and updating records, reports, forms, documentation, and other related information concerning administrative process AND utilizing software and electronic programs to maintain records.
