This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health (OMH), Columbia Area Mental Health Center (CAMHC), Adult Clinic Services, CAMHC #291.
As the Administrative Specialist, working under direct supervision, you will perform advance administrative and clerical duties, which is critical to the operation of Adult Clinic Services, a program within a large mental health center. Apply policies to perform varied tasks which significantly impacts the operation of the unit, make independent decisions concerning the daily operation of the unit.Responsibilities for this Administrative Specialist II:
Responsible for maintaining annual updates/financial information on patients assigned to ACS, ensuring that information obtained is scanned to patients' charts and submitted to the business office in a timely manner.
Assist in collecting fees, ensuring the accuracy of documentation submitted to the business office adhering to CAMHC and OMH policies and procedures.
Assist with collecting patient insurance information and updating patient demographics in patient chart.
