Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves handling the final stages of government contracts, such as closing them out, adjusting funds, and keeping track of payments and records for the Navy's information warfare systems command.
You'll work with teams to ensure everything is properly documented and reported to leaders.

You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the CONTRACTS DEPARTMENT of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledge of a wide variety of contracting methods and contract types sufficient to perform pre-award, post-award, contract price, cost analysis functions when the contract actions are not well defined or well precedence; knowledge of statutes, regulations, and procedures so as to be able to perform procurement functions that are not well defined or well precedented.
