This job involves overseeing AmeriCorps programs in Pennsylvania by providing guidance, training, and monitoring to ensure they run smoothly, comply with rules, and make a positive impact on communities.
You'll act as a key contact for grant recipients, helping them manage budgets, performance, and operations while working with a team to support national service initiatives.

The Department of Labor & Industry, PennSERVE is on the lookout for an ambitious Administrative Officer 2 to join the team.
The Program Officer advances PennSERVE’s mission by providing strategic oversight, guidance, and support to the Commission’s portfolio of AmeriCorps programs and other national service grants.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time for eligible employees.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
