This job involves managing the day-to-day administrative tasks for the Division of Insurance in Alaska's Department of Commerce, including handling budgets, financial planning, and supporting the team's leadership decisions.
You'll work in a collaborative office in downtown Juneau with great views, helping solve problems and coordinate resources to keep things running smoothly.

The working conditions you can expect:
This position is on the 9th floor of the State Office Building in downtown Juneau, Alaska.
The 9th floor also houses other divisions within the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development.
The office consists of floor to ceiling windows that allows natural light to flow in the building. From the 9th floor we can view of the Governor's mansion and Juneau's beautiful mountain ranges.

The Division of Insurance is a small division that consists of 48 positions split between Anchorage and Juneau with the Director based in Juneau.
