  • Extensive executive-level experience in managing HR, finance, and risk management functions
  • Hands-on leadership style with active engagement in identifying issues and driving solutions
  • Proven ability to collaborate closely with division leaders to achieve results
  • Experience advancing organizational transformations and reorganizations
  • Results-oriented mindset focused on delivery rather than delegation
  • Background in public sector or government administration preferred

Full Job Description

The Los Angeles County Internal Services Department (ISD) is seeking a highly experienced and results oriented Administrative Deputy III to serve in the Department’s Executive Office. The Administrative Deputy III is a technical, hands-on executive role. While this position functions at the executive level, it is intentionally designed for a leader who remains actively engaged in the work—someone who personally identifies issues, drives solutions, and collaborates closely with division leadership to deliver results, rather than just delegate responsibilities. This executive leader will oversee ISD’s Human Resources, Finance, and Risk Management divisions and play a key role in advancing a major ongoing transformation and reorganization of these functions.
