Job Purpose:
SC Department of Commerce is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable professional to be the Administrative Coordinator of the Global Business Development Division.
This position is responsible for the execution of diverse administrative and technical support, as well as providing administrative support for all staff members including assistance with foreign offices.
Successful candidates will demonstrate experience coordinating domestic and international travel, managing complex scheduling across multiple calendars, administering Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and supporting daily office operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor budgets, manage procurement card transactions, reconcile expenses, and prepare complex expense reports for domestic and international travel, including currency conversions.
Maintain working knowledge of and ensure compliance with all agency policies and procedures related to procurement, travel, and expense reporting.
Update contact databases and calendars, field phone calls, and greet visitors. Prepare and edit letters, memos, presentations, agendas, and other documents.
Proofread materials and draft meeting minutes. Implement and maintain organized systems for files, records, and documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.
Valid driver’s license required.Experience facilitating domestic and international travel arrangements and maintaining and utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
