The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the executive assistant to the Group Commander, Technical Advisor, Senior Enlisted Leader, & Deputy Director and primary point of contact for all administrative support programs to include but not limited to task management, cybersecurity liaison (CL), Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Defense Travel System (DTS) administrator, etc.

This is a GG-07 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS).

The GG-07 duties for the "Technician/Administrative Support" work category are at the "Entry/Developmental" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-07 level.

The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.

EXPERIENCE: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position.

Examples of creditable experience include: Knowledge of a body of standardized rules, procedures, or operations requiring considerable training and experience to perform the full range of standard clerical and non-clerical assignments and resolve recurring problems; and the skill, acquired through considerable training and experience, to operate and adjust varied equipment for purposes such as performing numerous standardized tests or operations.

Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): 1. Knowledge of security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information in a complex security environment. 2.

Knowledge of extensive rules, procedures, or operations applied to clerical assignments to perform the procedural and administrative work of the office, such as preparing and editing documents, maintaining files/records, making and preparing travel arrangements, locating, assembling and composing information for various reports, inquiries, and nontechnical correspondence.

Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, using tact and courtesy and possess the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines and ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.

Knowledge of office functions and commitments of supervisor and staff to prepare and review correspondence, screen telephone calls and visitors, maintain supervisor's calendar, and perform other substantive or administrative work of the organization.

4. Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format to accurately prepare and edit written correspondence and reports.

Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.

5. Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems. 6. Skill in typing; a qualified typist is required.

Conditions of Employment cont'd: Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

A non-disclosure agreement must be signed Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the AirForce Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program.

Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, nationalsecurity, and public safety.

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.

You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:

DUTY 1: Directly assists the Group Commander, Technical Advisor, Senior Enlisted Leader, and Deputy Director (Group Leadership) in the management of all administrative support program functions.

DUTY 2: Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs.

DUTY 3: Independently notes and follows-up on commitments made at meetings and conferences by staff members, and maintains Group Leadership calendars, coordinates meeting arrangements, and/or schedules meetings and/or conferences.

DUTY 4: Receives telephone calls, greets visitors, and ascertains the nature of the calls or visits. DUTY 5: Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.
