Responsibilities

  • You will perform a variety of administrative, technical, and/or clerical duties to support the processes and functions of the Board of Pharmacy.
  • You will plan, coordinate, and process in-state facilities and renewal applications.
  • You will review and evaluate documents, ensure all necessary requirements are complete, and assign the application for inspection.
  • You will plan and coordinate the annual license renewal and reinstatement of permitted facilities.
  • You will respond to customer inquiries received through walk-ins, telephone calls, e-mails, and other methods providing timely and accurate responses to requests related to Board of Pharmacy application and licensing processes.
  • You will provide assistance with administrative functions of the compliance area related to orders, communications, research, and uploading documents.
  • You will perform a variety of other administrative, technical, and/or clerical duties to support the processes and functions of the Board of Pharmacy.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted for the related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A high school diploma and three (3) years of administrative or related experience.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of office management and general administrative functions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to exercise judgments and discretion in interpreting and applying policies and procedures with licensees.
  • Ability to follow both routine and complex instructions.
  • Considerable skill in the use of office equipment and personal computers.

Other Requirements

  • Position works in an office environment with extended periods of sitting and standing.
  • May require occasional work outside of normal office hours.
  • May be required to lift, carry, move and/or position objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Daily filing, data entry, telephone and computer use.
