Key Requirements

- Bachelor's degree required for Commercial Art instructors, per SACSCOC accreditation standards
- Ability to teach diverse student groups using established syllabi and various instructional methods
- Proficiency in utilizing technology for instruction, including online and dual credit formats
- Flexibility to teach at multiple locations (Lex D. Walters Campus, six county centers, high schools) during day or evening schedules
- Part-time, temporary position with no guaranteed hours
Full Job Description
To teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or our six county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick during the day/evenings, on-line and dual credit instructors to teach in high schools. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching varying schedules to a diverse student body in accordance with the established syllabi, at a variety of locations, utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction.
Requirements
Minimum requirements for the Business Technologies Instructor, AOT, CPT, CRJ, ECD, FSE, and HUS, a master's degree is mandated by SACSCOC standards and principles of accreditation, to include any accrediting requirements based upon discipline.
Minimum requirements for the Commercial Art Instructor, a Bachelor's degree is mandated by SACSCOC standards and principles of accreditation, to include any accrediting requirements based upon discipline.
