This position is based at the Thornley Campus. The selected candidate must also be willing to provide online instruction and services as needed.
Course Description
CET 245 focuses on the basic principles of cost estimating for commercial and residential construction projects, including quantity takeoffs, pricing, bid preparation, and industry-standard estimating practices.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned CET 245 course(s)
- Design and develop instructional materials and course content as needed
- Assess and evaluate student performance
- Maintain accurate academic records
- Adapt to evolving instructional technologies and delivery methods
Requirements
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a strongly related field and related industry/engineering/surveying experience. Preferred candidates will have a civil engineering or architecture degree. Candidates submit unofficial transcripts with the application.
Qualifications
Post-secondary teaching experience is a plus. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, and the ability to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology is essential.
