This role involves teaching aircraft manufacturing courses at a technical college, managing daily program operations, developing curriculum, and advising students on their studies.
It also includes evaluating instructors and students, helping with budgets and equipment, and leading the aircraft manufacturing technology programs.
A good fit would be someone with hands-on experience in aircraft work and a passion for educating others in a changing tech environment.
Preference is given to applicants with at least two (2) years of teaching experience in post-secondary education.
The position requires comprehensive knowledge and experience in aircraft manufacturing processes with emphasis given to sheet metal and composite structures, aircraft materials and hand tools, fluid line assembly, corrosion identification and control, basic electrical systems, and tool & FOD control.
Candidates must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology. Other assignments include teaching courses, curriculum development.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
