This position serves as an Accountant 3, on the front line, directly leading staff and operations of a complex accounting unit responsible for master data creation, review of financial reports, accounting for inter-agency transfers.

This Accountant 3 leads the staff and operations of the Cost Allocation (CA) Team, within the Financial and Budgetary Accounting (FABA) Unit within the Financial Accounting Division of the Bureau of Accounting and Financial Management (BAFM) of the Office of Comptroller Operations (OCO) and serves as the lead of front line staff responsible for financial accounting and reporting functions related to intergovernmental transfers to ensure fiscal/legal accountability and transparency.
This position also reviews/enters master data into the SAP system, reviews the monthly Status of Appropriations, reviews the monthly SAP to Treasury fund recons for BP 9999, and enters version 999 ESN entries so Treasury can pay expenditures/accounting adjustments.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time with occasional in-office days when work dictates such requirements.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
