This job involves managing and accounting for the physical inventory in the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board's retail stores, ensuring records match what's actually on hand and valuing it correctly.
You'll work with teams in operations, supply chain, and warehouses to monitor transactions, handle adjustments, and resolve discrepancies through reports and cycle counts.
It's a good fit for someone detail-oriented with accounting basics and hands-on experience in tracking stock, especially if you enjoy using tools like Excel to analyze data.

This position works closely with operations, supply chain, delivery centers, and 3rd Party Logistic providers to ensure accurate accounting of physical inventory.
Inventory accounting ensures that not only does the inventory recorded on file match the inventory on-hand, but more importantly it addresses assessing the correct value of the inventory.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 4 days per week, with one day per week in the Northwest Office Building in Harrisburg.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

You must pass a background investigation.
An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
