In addition to the basic educational requirement, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical and analytical guidance for automated financial accounting systems; managing accounting programs and providing analysis of accounting procedures to implement improvements and ensure compliance with federal regulations or processes.

  • You will provide technical advice and guidance to the Head of Business and Finance, and other Headquarters and field staff officers on related financial management applications.
  • You will maintain the centralized repository for all funding actions that need to be processed by the Business and Finance Section, Purchase Request (MIPR) acceptances and rejections, contract actions, and contract incentives.
  • You will resolve complex pre-validation and contract reconciliation errors in accounting and contract-based systems.
  • You will review and sign funds reservations on behalf of the Business and Financial Management Section.
  • You will track and process earmarked funds for contract incentives, contingent liabilities and un-definitive contract actions Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
