This is a Dual Language Opportunity — you must be able to communicate effectively in ENGLISH and SPANISH in person, over the phone, in writing, and when assisting customers online.

As a member of the Virtual Services Team, they bring strong customer service experience, solid technical proficiency, and the ability to remain positive and adaptable in fast-paced or challenging situations.
They are prepared to support all WorkSource services, assist both job seekers and employers, and represent the agency with professionalism while helping connect individuals to meaningful employment opportunities.
This Virtual WorkSource Specialist 4 position contributes to the achievement of the agencies' goals and direction by: supporting all WorkSource lines of business and is capable and ready to serve Virtual WorkSource customers.
This position will provide an array of virtual services to job seekers and employers that includes RESEA, Live Chat, WorkFirst, and Workshops.
It will represent the agency in providing integrated service delivery to all customers. This position directly supports the mission of ESD by partnering to connect employers and jobseekers.
Here’s what you can look forward to doing, including but not limited to the following:
Develop and/or provide comprehensive, customer-centered employment and training services.
Perform records management functions in accordance with agency and program procedures.
Provide Statewide Live Chat Services, Facilitate orientations and workshops.
Develop and maintain relationships with businesses, partners, and other services providers.

Option 1:
One year (1) as a WorkSource Specialist 3 or equivalent class within the Employment Security Department, or another state agency.
Option 2:
A bachelor’s degree and three years (3) of relevant experience in workforce development, social or human resource services, public relations, or public contact work, such as: education, social services, public relations, human resource services, unemployment insurance, benefits programs, insurance claims, law enforcement and banking OR a combination of education and/or relevant experience.
Option 3:
A combination of education and/or relevant experience that totals at least seven (7) or more years.
AND
Must be able to communicate effectively in virtually, person, via telephone and in writing in English and Spanish.
