This job involves leading a team of counselors who help people with disabilities find and keep meaningful jobs, while ensuring the program runs smoothly and meets its goals.

As a Vocational Rehabilitation Supervisor, you will be implementing the goals of the VR program through assigning, scheduling, directing, and monitoring work in the unit.
You will be responsible for updating participant records, establishing performance goals and objectives, handling grievances and complaints, and initiating progressive and/or corrective disciplinary action for subordinates.
Work also involves ensuring program eligibility and the quality of case services through the review and analysis of case records and case conferences with Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors.
You will have the opportunity to facilitate in-service training sessions in order to maintain staff awareness of changing concepts and new policies and procedures, as well as ensure uniform application of established regulations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of the training period.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
