This job involves guiding and supporting teams that help people with disabilities find work, by providing training, monitoring programs, and ensuring services are fair and high-quality across Pennsylvania.
You'll work with staff, providers, and leaders to follow rules and improve outcomes for job seekers and employers.

As a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for program performance, program monitoring, as well as quality assurance activities in the administration of the OVR's quality management and technical assistance strategy.
You will carry out activities that help ensure the agency consistently functions well and delivers high-quality services to customers, employers, providers, and stakeholders.
Work also involves the development and delivery of case management monitoring and technical assistance services to district offices throughout the commonwealth.
You will be expected to ensure consistent, fair, and equitable services are provided to customers and stakeholders across bureaus while adhering to all applicable federal and state regulations.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work closely with OVR leadership and district office leadership regarding compliance and monitoring activities, outcomes, and trends.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
