Full Job Description

The position provides video production and general communications support to the Customer Education business process in the Office of Retirement Services. Duties typically include support for our social media, web, and intranet lines of business. ORS reaches approximately 35,000 people via our social media presence on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and X. The successful student assistant will help identify social media trends and produce similarly themed reels and short videos that promote financial literacy and early retirement planning. ORS administers retirement programs for Michigan's state employees, public school employees, judges, state police, and National Guard members. ORS serves 614,000 customers, representing one of every fourteen Michigan adults. ORS customers live in approximately one of every eight Michigan households.
