As a Vector Control Specialist, you will control and suppress insects, rodents, birds, and other vector pests.
You will use herbicides to keep grounds free of unwanted, noxious, and invasive vegetation. Work includes inspecting nesting areas, applying pesticides, and using traps to control infestation.
This role requires regular removal of sanitary wastes to prevent infestations, collecting disease carrying vectors for identification, and maintaining safe storage of equipment and chemicals.
In addition, you will use boring equipment, perform snow removal, and follow safety protocols at all times.
