The primary purpose of this position is to install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, upgrade, repair, and calibrate a variety of complex utility systems that require advanced skills in various utility related trades such as electronic industrial controls maintenance, electrical maintenance, pipefitting, air conditioning , heating and boiler plant equipment operation & maintenance, Water, wastewater treatment, air conditioning equipment and engineering equipment operation.
Requirements Continued Applicants must be at least (1)18 years old or (2) at least 16 years old and: (a) Have graduated from high school or been awarded a certificate equivalent to graduating from high school; or (b) Have completed a formal vocational training program; or(c) Have received a statement from school authorities agreeing with their preference for employment rather than continuing their education; or (d) Be currently enrolled in a secondary school and either work only during school vacation periods or work part-time during the school year under a formal student employment program.
To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (SCREEN OUT) Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc.
(includes blueprints reading) Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation Repair, etc.

Perform simple and routine maintenance and repair of the Water System, Wastewater system, Electrical Systems. Plumbing Systems, and other related utilities and systems.
Perform minor carpentry repairs using simple measures and hand tools. Performs minor painting using brush and roller according to specific instructions on projects.
Perform repairs for Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC. Operate small power tools and various hand tools.
Maintain tools and equipment according to instructions and performance of basic operator maintenance on park vehicles, grounds maintenance equipment and other power equipment.
Lift and carry objects, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds over uneven and/or steep terrain.
Operate vehicles up to one ton and skid steer loaders in transporting of personnel and materials to and from work locations.
Maintains daily records of work and hours in accordance to park policy and submits to FMSS team in a timely manner.
