In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operations of our gas and oil boiler plant. Apply today and help keep Danville State Hospital running smoothly!
In this position, you will operate gas-fired boilers, oil-fired boilers, and their auxiliary equipment to provide steam needed for heat and hot water.
You will serve as the lead worker by providing leadership during your shift. Your work will involve recording fuel consumption, adjusting firing controls, and maintaining records.
You will also inspect the boilers to detect any possible difficulties.
Some of your duties will include making adjustments to boilers and their equipment, completing preventative maintenance work orders, and operating heaving equipment.
Additionally, you will make sure that the maintenance staff follow pre-established standard operating procedures.
