This job involves hands-on construction and maintenance of underground electrical systems and sewers for Seattle's power utility, including digging trenches, using tools and equipment, and handling hazardous materials.
Workers help keep the city's electricity reliable and safe by building and repairing infrastructure in various outdoor settings.
It's a good fit for someone with construction experience who is physically fit, enjoys teamwork in diverse groups, and is willing to obtain necessary licenses and certifications.
Employees in this position must be available to work on weekends and evenings as needed. May be assigned to either the North or South Service Centers. May be required to work at the Tolt, Cedar Falls, Skagit and Boundary Projects.

The full salary range for this position is $38.03 to $40.61 per hour.
