The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the primary point of contact to the squadron commander for all administrative support programs to include, but not limited to, task management, Government Travel Card program, Defense Travel System administrator, Government Purchase Card program, Automated Data Processing Equipment accounts, Records Management.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year or will have one year within 120 days of closing of this announcement, of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NK-01, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in the Federal Service.

Specialized experience must include experience in administrative support programs such as, Sexual Assault Representative (SAPR), Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Defense Travel Systems (DTS) administrator, Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS), drug demand program, security program, civilian timecard program Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise; AND experience assisting/supporting on military and civilian personnel issues and manpower resource requirements.

OR EDUCATION: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college, or university.

OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education past two years above high school and specialized experience directly related to the work of this position as outlined above that meets the requirements of the position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1.

Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization. 2.

Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.

3. Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems. 4.

Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and posses the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines. 5.

Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.

You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:

Primary purpose continued: Unit Training Manager, Sexual Assault Representative, Contracting Officer's Representative, safety program and security program.

Also serves as liaison with personnel flights on personnel issues and assists in oversight of organization manpower resource requirements.

DUTIES: Serves as Unit Program Coordinator for the organization. Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs.

Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions. Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.

Unit Training Manager responsibilities. Manages various training systems applicable to the unit.
