About the Position: This is a military technician position with the United States Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command, 338 Psychological Company,16 Psychological Battalion, 2 Psychological Group, 353 Civil Affairs Command located at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).

Major Duties:

  • Process administrative actions using automated systems.
  • Maintain organizational records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review correspondence for submission to higher echelons.
  • Preserve stock levels of organizational equipment.
  • Monitor employee training programs.
  • Enforce policies established by higher Headquarters.
