Requirements

As a UCC Elevator Inspector Trainee, you will learn to enforce the Uniform Construction Code and related codes for lifting devices. You will have the opportunity to assist with inspecting various lifting devices for periodic and initial inspection acceptance, as well as ensuring overall safety of operations. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to efficiently schedule and prioritize inspections and additional work as necessary. We are looking for a self-motivated candidate with excellent communication skills, as you will be interacting with stake holders as well as the public.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

• This is a home headquartered position. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

• Candidates must reside in one of the following counties within 6 months of being certified: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia.

• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
