This job involves hands-on maintenance and repair of elevators, escalators, and related equipment in a large county health system, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
A good fit would be someone with solid technical experience in mechanical and electrical systems who enjoys troubleshooting and working in a hospital environment to support patient care.

DEFINITION:Certified Elevator Technician certificate**, issued by the National Association of Elevator Contractors.
Additional Information EXAMINATION CONTENT: This examination will consist of an evaluation of education and experience based upon application information and desirable qualifications, weighted at 100%.Candidates must achieve a passing score of 70% or higher on this examination in order to be placed on the Eligible Register.ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION: Applications will be processed on an "as-received" basis and those receiving a passing score will be promulgated to the eligible register accordingly.
The names of candidates receiving a passing score in the examination will be added to the eligible register in the order of their score group for a period of twelve (12) months following the date of promulgation.NO PERSON MAY COMPETE IN THIS EXAMINATION MORE THAN ONCE EVERY TWELVE (12) MONTHS.
SPECIAL INFORMATION: Appointees may be required to work any shift including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
VACANCY INFORMATION: The resulting Eligible Register from this examination will be used to fill the current vacancy at Harbor UCLA Medical Center.
