The Opportunity
WSDOT’s Technology Services Division (TSD) is seeking a senior enterprise IT Business Analyst to support Washington State Ferries (WSF) by providing expert-level guidance and leadership in the planning, evaluation, and implementation of information technology solutions that advance operational and strategic objectives.
Serving as a single-resource role, this position will independently lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives involving enterprise systems, vessel and terminal technologies, and regulated operational environments, elicit and validate business requirements, evaluate solution feasibility; and design or recommend process improvements aligned with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity standards, and operational needs.
The TSD Business Analyst will also play a key role in strengthening Transportation Systems Division business analysis and intake processes by developing repeatable frameworks and mentoring project teams and business stakeholders, while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and ensuring compliance with statewide IT policies and regulatory requirements.
