Base salary range: $41,966 - $54,557
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-6. Bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement or 1 year graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves creating and managing training programs for the U.S. Marine Corps, including designing materials, analyzing data to improve courses, and ensuring everything meets quality standards.
You'll work with instructors to update curricula, gather feedback from students and evaluators, and handle reports on training effectiveness.
It's a good fit for someone organized with experience in education or training who enjoys working with data and supporting teams in a military setting.
You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the Operations and Training Directorate of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Designing and developing training materials and curricula; utilizing training software; performing data analysis relative to curriculum development and testing/evaluation; planning, scheduling and managing multiple training programs and projects.
