You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the Learning Detachment of SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD SAN DIEGO LS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Using tools to design and develop training courses and materials, and evaluate instructor performance; 2) Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations and curriculum; 3) Utilizing CeTARS and/or a Training Systems Scheduler, Authoring Information Management (AIM), and the Content Planning Module (CPM) programs; and 4) Measuring and evaluating instructor and student performance to provide counseling and/or special instruction if needed, and to determine action required to resolve marginal performance.
IORs: Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction.
Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s).
Supervising or administering a training program. Development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results.
Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis.
