Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

You will serve as a Training Specialist in the Learning Standards Office of the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) of SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD SAN DIEGO.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Review and correct designed, developed training courses and material submissions to meet procedural requirements to evaluate training program effectiveness; 2) Evaluate effectiveness of existing programs, revise ongoing programs, establish guidelines, support subordinate staff to develop and implement new training; 3) Ability to implement directives as they relate to instructional systems of education and training commands and; 4) Perform, train staff, and identify shortfalls in implementation of instructor certifications/evaluations, trend analysis of instructor evaluations, preparation of evaluation reports, performance improvement recommendations, and program effectiveness.
