Base salary range: $41,966 - $54,557

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

You will serve as a TRAINING INSTRUCTOR (ARATC) in the AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL DEPARTMENT of NAVAL AIR TECHNICAL TRAINING CENTER.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing simulators, computer based training systems, audio visual media and training devices; 2) Testing current Air Traffic Control policies and procedures sufficient to teach and evaluate students during principles of operation and lab training; 3) Providing formal classroom and practical laboratory instruction utilizing approved course materials, training aides, and other media in the basic skills area; 4) Providing instruction in terminal radar approach control procedures; and 5) Performing curriculum maintenance for the course material and all associated test items.
