Job Duties:

Serves as the Training Coordinator for agency-wide leadership development program through Staff Development and Training.

Duties include supporting coaching model implementation, participating in planning, designing, implementing, conducting and coordinating leadership development training programs as well as other initiatives, coordinating contract deliverables, overseeing the Coach Approach Coach Mentor Development Program, providing 1:1 leadership coaching throughout the agency.


Assists the Leadership Development Training Director with training operations, providing guidance to the Leadership Development Instructor/Training Coordinators to meeting the needs of the agency, developing effective employee training programs, maintaining training information, and evaluating the delivery of all leadership development learning opportunities and professional development learning paths for improvement in content and delivery.

May be called upon to assist with special projects.


Delivers and creates in-person and virtual employee professional development programs focused on leadership development at all levels across the agency.

Assists in designing learning opportunities, including the selection and organization of content, methods and materials needed to meet identified knowledge, skill, and ability gaps.


  • Coordinates and ensures delivery of Coach Approach Coach Mentor Development Program activities with fidelity to the Coach Approach Model.

  • Provides 1:1 or team coaching to agency leadership as part of Individual Learning Plans focused on development of leadership competencies and behaviors.

  • Works with internal stakeholders across the agency to analyze training needs, to include problem solving and identifying program development needs. Serves as internal/external consultant for specific program area(s) and assist with strategic planning process for leadership training division.

  • Coordinates activities and ensures deliverables are achieved on time as listed in training contracts, to include monitoring and tracking of all associated training activities.

Serves as a reviewer of coaching and/or leadership curriculum and training packets submitted to Staff Development & Training for approval by agency staff and contracting organizations.

Validates the adherence to agency mission, vision, values, principles, including any relevant practice models and/or policies for all areas to include course titles, curriculum content, instructional contact time, method of instruction, and associated training hours.


  • Protects the agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment and data to ensure that personal identifying information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed.

  • Performs other related duties assigned.

Requirements

A Master's Degree and two (2) years of professional experience in social services programs, correctional, education, business administration, general administrative management, or relevant program experience

A Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of professional experience in social services programs, correctional, education, business administration, general administrative management, or relevant program experience.

Must be certified or eligible for certification to train Coach Approach to Adaptive Leadership Workshops.
