In this role, you will serve as a direct aide to the Traffic Studies Supervisor, focusing on the execution and evaluation of various engineering recommendations derived from comprehensive traffic studies.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing factors related to speed limits, the implementation of multi-way stops, and the enforcement of turn and truck restrictions.
Additionally, you will be involved in the establishment of one-way and two-way street configurations, as well as conducting studies on passing zones and truck climbing lanes.
Your work will also encompass assessing intersection and stopping sight distances, identifying hazardous walking routes, and performing mid-block crosswalk studies, along with other investigations aimed at enhancing operational safety.
This position requires a keen attention to detail and a thorough understanding of traffic engineering principles to ensure effective recommendations are made based on the data collected.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
