Full Job Description
You will serve as a TOOLS and PARTS ATTENDANT in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT (SHOP 52) of PSNS and IMF.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job.

- You will issue, receive, store and recall Test Measuring and Diagnostic equipment (TMDE).
- You will provide information to customers on status of equipment being serviced.
- You will make suitable substitutes for equipment that is not available.
- You will use reference material to determine equipment specifications.
- You will periodically perform electrical safety checks on the equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
- You will make simple and minor repairs to equipment.
